We'll be playing out by the pool behind the Player's Club at the Lely country club in south Naples on Sunday, Mar. 18 starting at 1:00 'til probably 4:00 or so. I think it's a private event for members, but if you tell them you're with the band, who knows?, maybe they'll let you in. We played for an open house sales event there a few weeks ago and we heard that the members demanded they get us to come back. So that's a good sign.

Well, we'll give a go at having a blog on here. It kind of duplicates the function of our FaceBook page I suppose and maybe we'll just copy and paste info to both places. But it's easy to set up, so why not?

I'll start out by saying that the gig at Sharky's at Sundial on Sanibel ("SSS" for short?) has been going well for us. We've been there for about a month and a half now and folks seem to really be enjoying what we are doing. The management folks also seem pleased and we've been told they really want us to keep at through this whole season. We've been seeing mostly out of town guests at the resort. We're hoping to get some locals to start coming out. We sent out a press release late last week to some of the local papers that often run items on various arts events so we're hoping to get a bit of publicity that way. Be on the lookout and let us know if you see anything in print!
